Westhab’s Vice President of Human Resources, Jinja Cuevas, Named to Business Council of Westchester’s Rising Stars Class of 2021
New Rochelle Native Honored at Virtual Ceremony for Westchester’s 40 Under 40 Awards
Yonkers, New York—June 30, 2021—Westhab, Inc. is pleased to announce Jinja Cuevas, Vice President of Human Resources, has been named to the Business Council of Westchester’s 2021 Rising Stars list for their annual 40 Under 40 Awards. This accomplishment honors those who have made a significant impact in their professional careers and their organizations. Honorees are selected based on a combination of professional achievements, leadership qualifications, and entrepreneurial strengths.
Under Jinja’s leadership over the last five years, Westhab’s human resources department has become a partner to all, providing tremendous leadership and support to their over 700 employees. As a human resources professional, she works to be as adaptable and personable as possible with a proven ability to influence management and work independently in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments. Her specialties lie in employee relations, policy writing and implementation, and strategic partnerships.

Ms. Cuevas joined Westhab in 2014 with over 10 years of experience in nonprofit human resources management at small and midsized organizations. She also has several years of consulting experience involving EEO compliance, recruitment, and training as well as in monitoring Continuing Legal Education (CLE) compliance requirements for over 1600 attorneys of a corporate law firm.
