Westhab’s Annual Celebration Dinner Raises Over $630,000 to Support the Dayspring Community Center

The dinner celebrated 40 years of Westhab’s impact on the community while raising funds to support the Dayspring Community Center in the Nodine Hill neighborhood of Yonkers, NY

Yonkers, NY – November 19, 2021 – On Thursday, November 18, 2021, Westhab proudly hosted their Annual Building Communities. Changing Lives. Celebration Dinner for the Dayspring Community Center at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY. This year’s dinner marked Westhab’s 40th Anniversary, as well as the culmination of Westhab’s Dayspring Campaign. With the generous support of friends and sponsors, the Celebration Dinner raised over $630,000 for the Dayspring Community Center.

Westhab was fortunate to have three tremendous and deserving honorees for the celebration. Westhab’s Building Communities Award was presented to Slate Property Group in honor of their generous support and partnership in building affordable housing. The Changing Lives Award was presented to Regeneron in honor of their long-standing support for Westhab’s work in the community as well as their trailblazing work saving lives​ in Westchester County and beyond. The Reformed Church of Bronxville was honored with the Community Partnership Award in recognition of the congregation’s deep-rooted and generous support for Westhab and also for the important role it played in delivering the Dayspring Community Center to the Nodine Hill community.

“It was so inspiring to see Westhab’s supporters come out with enthusiasm for our annual Celebration Dinner,” said Westhab’s President and CEO, Rich Nightingale. “This event was truly special as we celebrated Westhab’s 40 years of service and dedicated 100 percent of the funds raised to support our new Dayspring Community Center.”
