Westhab Announces Changes to Leadership Team

Today, Westhab announced important changes to its leadership team. According to President and CEO Rich Nightingale, “Westhab is Building Communities and Changing Lives in more places and for more people than ever before. While our community continues to face serious challenges, Westhab has continued to grow and thrive. Today, I am extremely excited to announce some important changes to our Leadership Team.”

Jim Coughlin, Chief Operating Officer
Jim Coughlin has been promoted to become Westhab’s first Chief Operating Officer. Jim has been a leader at Westhab throughout his 20-year career with the organization. He has led all Services activities for the past seven years, which have been characterized by unprecedented growth. As COO, he will lead Westhab into its next chapter, bringing its mission activities to new heights while deepening Westhab’s investment in the communities it serves. Jim is a resident of Sussex, NJ.

 

Ken Belfer, Senior Vice President – Strategy and Planning
Ken Belfer has become Westhab’s first Senior Vice President – Strategy & Planning. With 33 years of service, Ken is Westhab’s longest-tenured employee and his expertise will guide Westhab’s long-term strategy. Ken is a long-time resident of Yorktown, NY.

Andrew Germansky, Senior Vice President – Real Estate
Andrew Germansky has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Real Estate. His expanded responsibilities will include both Property Management and Real Estate Development where Andrew is leading the creation of Westhab’s new pipeline of quality, attractive affordable housing. Andrew lives in Mt. Kisco

Patricia Vitelli, Senior Vice President – Finance & Administration
Patricia Vitelli has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Finance & Administration, ensuring the continued health and stability of the organization. Over Patricia’s 20 years with Westhab, she has guided the organization through both good and challenging times, and she has built a stable infrastructure to support Westhab’s growth. Patricia is a Hartsdale, NY resident.

 

Jinja Cuevas, Vice President – Human Resources
Jinja Cuevas has been promoted to Vice President – Human Resources. Under Jinja’s leadership over the last five years, HR has become a partner to all, providing tremendous leadership and support to Westhab’s nearly 700 employees. Jinja lives in New Rochelle, NY.

Steve Myrthil, Vice President – IT
Steve Myrthil has recently joined the team in a new role for Westhab: Vice President – IT. Steve comes to Westhab from Excellence Community Schools where he provided visionary technical leadership as the Chief Technology Officer. At Westhab, he will oversee advancements in technology across Westhab’s entire portfolio. Steve resides in Fairfield, CT.

Maureen Natkin, Vice President – Development
Maureen Natkin has been promoted to Vice President – Development. Maureen has elevated Westhab’s fundraising efforts, including the Dayspring Campaign, grant writing, and communications. Maureen lives in Irvington, NY.

Stephanie Viola, Assistant Vice President – Accounting
Stephanie Viola has been promoted to Assistant Vice President – Accounting, joining Westhab’s leadership team. In Stephanie’s 17 years with Westhab, she has created incredible capacity in our Finance Division. Stephanie lives in Bethel, CT.
