Hudson Family Residence hosted a Career Closet event with work-wear donations organized by a Westhab Junior Board Member. The event served the 100 families at Hudson and, for one resident, gave him the confidence he needed to win the job.
The Westhab Junior Board hosted its first cocktail event at NYC’s City Winery to benefit Westhab this November. Over 100 attendees gathered to enjoy the city views and support the Westhab mission. The evening was an incredible success, raising over $50,000 for housing and supportive programming at Westhab!

Westhab is expanding its pantry services at Dayspring Community Center to include a second pantry every month. The second monthly offering is expected to serve over 100 households with large donations of fresh and dry food staples. Westhab is thrilled to announce that lottery applications are now open for Summit on Hudson, a 113-unit affordable housing residence located at 76 Locust Hill Avenue in Yonkers. Recently, City in the Community (CITC), the foundation proudly supported by New York City Football Club (NYCFC), stopped by one of Westhab’s South Bronx shelters to give back to the community through a product donation day. CITC and players from NYCFC First Team were joined by volunteers from Midea and NYCFC’s Front Office to deliver over $125,000 worth of donated Midea products.
