The blog team is comprised of Westhab staff from all areas of the organization who have volunteered to help tell our story. Our team ranges from front-line staff through our President and CEO, with Westhab experience spanning from a few months to more than 15 years. We each bring a unique perspective to the website, and we look forward to sharing our stories with you!
Akil Childs
Job Developer
Akil coordinates training programs for Westchester County residents. He joined the blogging team because he is very conscious of what is happening in the community, and he wants to take advantage of the opportunity to express his views in the hope of creating more dialogue on topics that affect the day-to-day lives community members.
Theresa Coylar
Community Service Coordinator/Program Director at Westhab’s Dayspring Community Center
Theresa coordinates programming at the Dayspring Community Center in the Nodine Hill section of Yonkers. She blogs to help spread the word about new and exciting developments at our expanding community center.
Angelo Hunt
Facility Manager
As a facility manager, Angelo wears many hats—looking after the physical condition of Westhab facilities, from safety to aesthetics. He blogs in an effort to share his wide range of experiences from a unique perspective and to highlight the good that Westhab does for the community.
Michelle Latty
Property Manager
Michelle oversees the administrative processes of several buildings in the Westhab permanent housing portfolio. She joined the blog team to give insight on Westhab’s effect on the communities served and share some insight on what drives us.
